"Dana Point Sunset"

Dana Point

36" x 60" Acrylic on canvas                            Sold

Seas and skies

What endlessly fascinating subjects!

S tudying changing cloud patterns above and the amazing designs in ocean surf is inspiring. I wanted to give a feeling of the vastness and majesty of the Pacific Ocean in this painting of Dana Point in Southern California.

Painting Tip

Every painting should have at least one vertical, one horizontal, one curve and one diagonal in it.

Otherwise, it will probably be static.

It's easy to check for these elements and can't help but give you another key to help you grow as an artist.

"Some painters transform the sun into a yellow spot, others transform a yellow spot into the sun."

Pablo Picasso

"A work of art is the unique result of a unique temperament."

                  Oscar Wilde

Each artist can contribute uniquely. No two people are alike.
