He stills the roaring of
the seas and waves.

While Christ walked on the earth He stilled the waters of the Sea of Galilee when the disciples in the boat were so afraid. He also stills the storms in my life today.

Mental Warfare

 Cares like wild waves crash against my mind
  sending spasms of fear through my thoughts.
Oh, Jesus, You Who are infinitely kind,
  I cling to You as Satan flings his best shots.
Your gift is the whole armor of God for me to use,
  Your grace and strength I would not refuse.

So I give each anxious thought for you to hold
 As I trust and see Your loving plan unfold.
